About Heather

In addition to a BA Honours Degree from the University of Warwick, I also hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma from the Clifton Practice in Bristol. The Clifton Practice is an accredited centre of excellence in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy and the HPD is considered to be the ‘Gold Standard’ hypnotherapy qualification. I am also a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. As such, I am bound by and follow their Code of Professional Conduct in my practice. I also attend regular supervisions, am fully insured and hold a current enhanced DBS certificate.

I have a range of experience working with all ages from young children to the very elderly. Since qualifying in Clifton I have been delighted to help many clients who have experienced a wide range of difficulties – my youngest client at 7 years old and the eldest so far being 81 years old! Regularly witnessing positive change in people in a relatively short space of time is so rewarding. My clients are in complete control for the whole hypnotherapy process. The strategies, tools and understanding that we develop together will benefit you for the rest of your life. Having learned to regain control over thoughts, feelings and behaviours you will be able to cope in a constructive way with the demands of your life situation, whatever that may be. Without a doubt, the best part of my job is seeing the positive changes in clients and having feedback about the beneficial impact these changes are having on their health, wellbeing and lives. You can rest assured that all sessions with me are completely confidential and non-judgmental.

“You must learn a new way to think before you can master a new way to be.”
